Apple fritters

When you have a toddler in home, it means you have many half eaten apples in your fridge?. Our house is not an exception☹️.

When I was thinking? what to do with that other than apple juice and pancakes, fritters came to my mind??. My daughter totally loved it and was asking for more. Hope you love it.

Ingredients

Wheat flour – 1 1/2 cup

Rice flour – 2 tbsn

Baking soda – 1/4 tsp

Sugar – 1/4 cup or more( depends on sweetness of apple)

Milk – 1/4 cup

Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tsp

Salt – a pinch

Water – as required

Apple – 1 grated

Oil – to deep fry

Method

  • Make batter with all ingredients except apple. The batter should be in consistency of pancake batter.
  • Then add apple. Mix gently.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan. When the oil is hot drop a spoonful of batter. Cook in medium flame till golden.
  • Serve warm.

    A toddler story… I am in. I have the same experience. I love the way you utilized the half eaten apples instead of throwing them away. Good job !
