Crunchy top Rose flavored Mini Muffins ( Eggless)

Happy 4th July friends.I present you my new recipe Crunchy top Rose flavored Mini Muffins.I have already talked about this recipe in this post.As I already said in that previous post,I had tried this recipe once before which was a flop one.But I determined to try that again and this time I succeeded.As the popular saying goes “Don’t judge a book with its cover” ,you don’t judge this muffin with the looks.It may not look beautiful but I assure you it tastes great.I say this because my daughter who is a picky eater loves this.

Crunchy top Rose flavored Muffins(egg less)

This muffins have a awesome rose flavor that comes from the rose essence.I substituted rose essence for usual vanilla.The result is beautiful rose aroma all around your house.In this Crunchy top Whole wheat Rose flavored Mini Muffins ,I used only 1/2 tsp rose essence.It was mild for me.If you like more or less please free feel to use.I call this crunchy top because,its outer layer is little crunchy while the inner is soft melt in mouth muffins.

This Crunchy top Rose flavored Mini Muffins are made with whole wheat and its egg less too.I used banana in substitute for eggs.You can use eggs if you want.You can add choco chips or walnuts in it to add an additional crunch.This makes a great tea time snack.You can make this for a party or get together too.Hope you all like this and will give a try.Don’t forget to let me know feedback.

Crunchy top rose flavored mini muffins

INGREDIENTS

Whole wheat flour – 1 cup

Butter – 1/4 cup

Sugar – 1/2 cup

Mashed banana – 1/4 cup

Red food color – 1/8 tsp

Rose essence – 1/2 tsp

Baking powder – 1/2 tsp

Milk – 1/4 cup

Salt – a pinch

METHOD

  • Pre heat the oven at 350 deg F.
  • In a bowl sift flour,baking powder and salt.Keep aside.
  • In another bowl,beat butter and sugar till creamy.
  • Add mashed banana and mix.Add red food color and rose essence.
  • Add milk and mix thoroughly.
  • Now add the sifted flour slowly and mix till all are incorporated.
  • The batter will be thick.
  • Scoop it to greased muffin pan.
  • Bake it in pre heated oven to 10-12 minutes.
  • Serve.

 

NOTES

 

  1. I used mini muffin pan and it yielded 18 mini muffins in above meaasurements.
  2. I bake it to 12 min, so it was more crunchy.If you want little crunchy, bake it 10 mins.
  3. You can add choco chips or walnuts to the batter while baking.
