Gulab Jamun Cupcakes /Muffins ( No Butter)

All are busy making treats for their special ones this Valentine’s day. What did you decide to make? If you haven’t finalized one, I highly recommend to try this Gulab Jamun Cupcakes/Muffins.

Gulab Jamun Cupcakes/Muffins

This Valentine’s day I decided to make this Gulab Jamun Cupcakes/ Muffins as my husband and kids love Gulab Jamun the most. If you ask me why did I chose to make it into a muffins, because I want to surprise them.Ya,the actual main ingredient is hidden this muffins.

I have been looking for Gulab Jamun stuffed cupcakes. Most of them where they stuffed the Jamun in normal vanilla cupcakes. But I want the Jamun flavor to be incorporated in the muffin. So I made my own recipe. This cupcakes don’t need any frosting as it is great as such. But you can if you want.

How did I make Gulab Jamun Cupcakes/ Muffins

As I said above, I want to make cupcakes with real Gulab Jamun flavor. So I incorporated the Jamun syrup in the batter. You can either reduce sugar and add just syrup too.I grounded the sugar with cardamom to give the exact flavor. I didn’t add any butter but still the cupcakes are moist and deicious.

I stuffed homemade Gulab Jamun in it for surprise element. It’s like eating Gulab Jamun in cupcake form. You can also use store bought one. This recipe is a great way to use left over Jamun syrup.
