Ingredients

  • 2 cups Kovaika/Ivy gourd cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Chaat masala
  • 3/4 cup Besan /Chickpea flour
  • 2 tsp Rice flour
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt as required
  • Oil To deep fry

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients except oil in a bowl.
  • Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • In a deep fry pan, add required oil to deep fry.
  • When the oil is hot enough , fry the Ivy gourd mixture in batches till golden brown.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

  1. This should be served warm. If cooled down, will become soggy.
  2. Adjust spice powders as per your taste.
