Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 cups Peanuts
  • 1/4 cup Roasted Gram Dal
  • 1/4 cup Raisins
  • Currry leaves few
  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Sugar
  • Salt As Required

Instructions

  • Heat a wide pan. Add a tsp of coconut oil.
  • When the oil is hot,add curry leaves and peanuts.
  • Roast the peanuts for a minute or till it roasted,then add roasted gram dal.
  • Stir a little and add raisins.
  • Stir till the raisins are done.Do all these in medium flame.Take care not to burn the ingredients.
  • Add red chili powder,salt and sugar.
  • Give a quick stir.
  • Add rice krispies.
  • Switch off the flame.
  • Mix it thoroughly such that all ingredients are incorporated well.
    Serve.

Notes

  1. Using coconut oil gives it a unique flavor. Still you can use any cooking oil.
  2. While roasting the nuts take care not to burn.You can roast each ingredient separately and then mix too.
  3. This will stay good for 2 weeks if stored in air tight container at room temperature.
  4. You can add any nuts of your choice.
  5. The spices given can always be adjusted as per your choice.
