Grind all ingredients under the 'To Grind' lists to a fine paste with required water.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker pan. Add Bay leaf and cardamom.
Add chopped onion and green chili.
When onion turns translucent add the chopped vegetables and saute'.
Saute' for 2 minutes and add ground coconut paste with required water.
Add required salt and closed the lid.
Cook till the 3 whistles or until vegetables are cooked.
Open the lid when the pressure is gone and mash vegetables lightly.
The kurma would be watery but when cools down it becomes thick.Serve along with Pulao, roti, chapathi,paratha.
