Strawberry Jam

I made this Strawberry Jam with just 3 ingredients like my most other jams .The procedure starts when you hull Strawberries, then cook with required sugar till the strawberries becomes mushy.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Strawberries Washed & Hulled
  • 1 1/2 Cups Organic Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

  • Pulse strawberries with sugar coarsely in a food processor or chop it roughly.
  • Take Strawberry and sugar in a heavy bottomed deep pan.
  • Cook in medium flame till the strawberries become soft.
  • When the jam becomes thick, add lemon juice and within 5 minutes it attains consistency.
  • Take off from the flame.
  • When it is cooled down completely, transfer it to airtight container.
  • This jam stays good for more than 2 weeks if stored properly.
  • Use only dry spoon.

Notes

  1. To check if the jam is done, make a streak with the ladle and the streak should stay for a minute.
  2. Remember to use only dry spoon.
