Onion Tomato chutney
Chutneys are an inevitable part of South Indian cooking. There are lots of chutneys and here it is Onion tomato chutney that goes well with Idli/ Dosa.

Get ingredients with
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan and temper chana dal.
When it turns golden add onion, ginger and curry leaves.
When onion turns translucent add tomato and sautés till mushy.
Then add grated coconut and coriander leaves.
Stir for a minute. Switch off.
When it cools down, grind along with salt with required water.
In a pan, heat oil. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Pour the tempering over the chutney.
Serve with hot idli or dosa.
Notes
You can increase or decrease dry red chili according to your taste.
