Cut each half into half in lengthwise.If the thickness of the wedges are as you desired,you can marinate.If it's still big again cut into half in lengthwise.
Wash it nicely to remove the starch and wipe it dry in kitchen towel or tissue.
Chop garlic pods in this chopper finely.
Mix coconut oil,garlic,salt and pepper to make a marinade.Marinate potato wedges in the mixture and keep aside.
Meanwhile pre heat oven at 400 deg F.
After 10 minutes arrange marinated potato wedges without touching each other in foil lined baking tray and bake in pre heated oven for 40 minutes.
Serve warm with your favorite sauce.

You can bake potato wedges with the skin on.You have to just wash it thoroughly to remove any dirt.
You can substitute olive oil for coconut oil.
Adjust salt and pepper as per your taste.
You can also increase or decrease garlic.
If making for kids who don't like garlic just avoid adding garlic in the marination.Follow other steps.
Bake time may change depending on the oven.Keep an eye for the crispiness you needed for your wedges.
