Veg Cutlets - Air fry option included
Veg Cutlet or Vegetable Cutlet is a pan-fried vegetable patty. It is usually had as a snack along with green chutney or imli chutney or simple tomato ketchup.

Instructions
Heat oil in a wide pan and add cumin seeds.
Add chopped onions. Saute for a minute.
When the onion turns translucent, add ginger garlic paste.
When the raw smell goes, add the spice powders.
Mix and add green peas and chopped carrots.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Then add boiled and mashed potatoes
Add required salt and mix thoroughly.
Blend the potatoes nicely using the back side of the ladle.
Add chopped cilantro and switch off.
When the mix cools down, take a small portion and make patties of any shape ( circle or heart or oblong)
Beat an egg in a bowl.
Dip the patties in the egg and then in the bread crumbs.
Heat a pan and oil.
Place the breaded patties and cook in medium flame till it turns golden. Then flip it and cook.
Serve warm with ketchup or any chutney.
To air fry
Preheat the air fryer to 350 Deg.
Brush the patties with oil after breading and cook in the air fryer for 15 minutes.
Do not forget to flip the patties in between.
To bake in Oven
Preheat the oven to 350 Deg F.
Lay the breaded cutlets in a baking tray and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Check after 15 minutes, so it will not get burned.

You can freeze the breaded patties for later use.
