Halloween Spiderweb cookies
Halloween is nearing and all kids are gearing up to wear spooky costumes and to go hunt for their favorite treats. So I made some Spider web cookies to treat them.
I’m not a big fan of frosted cookies. So I opted for this easy method to make a spider web and kids easily recognized it too. You don’t need to master any frosting technique to make this cookie. But I’m sure it will be a winner among the kids. Even my husband loved it. My daughter was bugging me to know how I made that pattern. I said it’s a secret. You guys too keep it secret. (lol)
How to make Spiderweb cookies
The cookie recipe I used to make this spider web cookie is my 3 ingredient shortbread cookie. I have posted this cookie on my Instagram way before but forgot to post it in this space. You need just 3 ingredients to make this shortbread cookie. Butter, powdered sugar, and flour. Mix all ingredients, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Then cut and bake. That’s it. So easy right?
It is much easier to make the spider web pattern. You just need a stainless steel spider ladle. After you cut the cookies, dip the spider ladle in cocoa powder and press over the cookie to make an impression. Then bake.
