This is the first time I made a smoothie with cucumber fruit. Usually, when I get cucumber fruit for vishu, we make pachadi or kootu. But this time I thought to try a smoothie with it as it was too hot. It is naturally creamy and thick without even adding milk.

Peel the Cucumber and remove the seeds inside. Cut it into cubes. Take cucumber cubes, ½ quantity of milk, and sugar in a blender. Pulse it for a few seconds. Then add the remaining milk and the required water to make the consistency. Blend it again for a few seconds.

Add ice cubes and serve the smoothie cold.

I would say it’s a personal choice. I prefer to peel the skin as the skin of the cucumber fruit will be thicker than the young cucumber.
