Orange Lassi/ Orange Yogurt Smoothie

Lassi is a yogurt-based drink that is of Indian origin. No Punjabi meal is complete without Lassi. I have shared Mango Lassi in the past. Mango lassi is one you can get in most of the Indian restaurants here in the US. Do try yourself one and you know why is it so popular.

Coming to Orange Lassi, I tried this recipe from Tarla Dalal’s book I got. I have spoken about and tried Baked Whole wheat Methi Puri post. Please do read to know how I got the book. My son loves orange. So I decided to try this recipe at least now. I actually planned to share this lassi in my FB group for the last theme. But my bad, I forgot the due date. So I missed sharing it along with my other blogger friends. I think I have to keep a reminder to know when to post. How do you keep yourself reminded about all things regarding the blog? Please do share your tricks or any apps you use.

How to make Orange Lassi

As I said earlier, I adapted this from the Tarla Dalal cookbook. All you need is some freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt, and sugar/ honey. Just whip it up. Delicious, soothing Orange lassi ready.

You can serve this with some ice cubes on a hot sunny day. This is perfect for a backyard party or a family get-together. I believe you give a try this Orange lassi which is different from normal ones.

  1. Perfect way to cool off this summer. Addition of citrus fruit with yoghurt is lovely. Oranges leave a great aroma and after taste in your mouth as well, which I love.

  2. Lassi is my all time favourite drink..but have never thought and tried orange flavors in it..how’s the taste ??
Thank you dear including mine recipe in your post 😊

  3. Lassi is all time favourite in my house..but have never tried orange flavors in it..would love to try out your variation soon

  4. Never thought of orange lassi before! This sounds delicious and refreshing… If I am keen on participating in any challenge, I actually create a draft post for that particular day and leave it in my drafts, so that while I am going through my schedules posts, I see it and I know I should be working on it. Another thing I do is if there is more than one, I write down on a piece of paper and stick it on my kitchen cupboard door… so that I see it and I work on it.. 🙂
