Hi all, I’m here with yet another easy dessert recipe. Today’s recipe is Phyllo Dessert Cups Recipes. This can be a dessert recipe that can give way to your imagination. Let’s see how.
Phyllo Dessert Cups Recipes
This one is the easiest dessert recipe. You need just 3 ingredients. Ok, technically 5 ingredients. I’m not joking. The phyllo cups, Greek yogurt/Hung curd, and powdered sugar. I used this.
How to make Dessert Recipes with Phyllo Cups.
As I said, this is the easiest recipe I made ever. The phyllo cups I bought made it so easy. I used homemade yogurt. So I strained the yogurt through a sieve to remove the whey water. If you are using store-bought Greek yogurt, you can skip this step. I used powdered sugar as I didn’t want to get the granules of sugar. The flavor can be of your choice. Here I used vanilla essence. Bake the phyllo cups as per the directions in the pack. Mix yogurt, sugar, and essence. Fill in the cups and serve.
Toppings you can use
You can just unleash your imagination when it comes to topping. Any fresh fruits, or nuts of your choice. You can also drizzle some caramel syrup as my kids did.
How to serve Phyllo Cups in a party
These Phyllo dessert cups are perfect for parties and get-togethers. If you plan to serve this dessert, Bake the cups early, Mix the yogurt, and keep them separately. Keep the toppings in a separate bowl. When the party starts either the guests can make their own combinations or you can fill the yogurt mixture and top it with a few combinations of toppings, so guests can choose their favorite.
How long can I save Phyllo dessert cups?
I made these Phyllo Cups in the afternoon and served them to my kids in the evening. Still, the cups were crispy and didn’t get soggy even when I filled them with yogurt mixture for 3 to 4 hours in the refrigerator. So from my experience, these phyllo dessert cups stay good and crisp for 3 to 4 hours in the refrigerator.

How soon can you fill the cups with the yogurt? Don’t want they to get soggy.
As I mentioned in the post, I baked these cups in the afternoon and served my kids in the evening. Once the cups cooled down after baking, you can fill the cups or if you want to serve later, the cups stay crispy for 4 to 6 hours. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.
