Crispy Okra fry

Coming to the recipe, this is a crispy fry you can have along with rice. Our family loves to have this as a snack too. It’s so addictive that you will not stop with one. Don’t blame me for not warning.

How to make Okra fry crispy?

The main step is to slice the okra thin. Then add other ingredients except oil to the okra and mix thoroughly. Do not add water. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry immediately. We do not want to rest this mixture as the okra starts leaving water and it will not be crispy. Deep fry in medium flame so that it will not burn. The oil should be really hot while dropping the okra.

Pro tip – Do not rest the okra after mixing with other ingredients.

Can I Air fry?

Yes, I have tried Air frying. Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 350 Deg. Then brush the oil over the okra mixture and place it in the air fryer basket. Do not overfill. Air fry for 15 to 20 minutes shaking the basket in halfway. Air fry until the crispiness you need.
