Happy 4th July friends. I present to you my new recipe Crunchy top Rose flavored Mini Muffins. As I already said in that previous post, I had tried this recipe once before which was a flop one. But I determined to try that again and this time I succeeded. As the popular saying goes “Don’t judge a book with its cover”, you don’t judge this muffin with the looks. It may not look beautiful but I assure you it tastes great. I say this because my daughter who is a picky eater loves this.
These muffins have an awesome rose flavor that comes from the rose essence. I substituted rose essence for the usual vanilla. The result is a beautiful rose aroma all around your house. In this crunchy top Whole wheat Rose flavored Mini Muffins, I used only 1/2 tsp rose essence. It was mild for me. If you like it more or less please free feel to use it. I call this crunchy top because its outer layer is a little crunchy while the inner is the soft melt-in-mouth muffins.
See how spongy inside
These crunchy top-Rose flavored Mini Muffins are made with whole wheat and its eggless too. I used bananas as a substitute for eggs. You can use eggs if you want. You can add chocolate chips or walnuts to it to add an additional crunch. This makes a great tea-time snack. You can make this for a party or get together too. I hope you all like this and will give it a try. Don’t forget to let me know your feedback.

I love the idea of adding a rose essence instead of vanilla – it surely makes it more summery now that flowers seem to be in bloom everywhere. #CookBlogShare
