This Salmon fish fry is one easy and a flavorful side dish to have along with rice or with a good salad.
Salmon Fish fry
I love fish and in my hometown, there will be a person who brings fresh-caught fish daily to our home. Just imagine the taste of freshly caught fish. You will never get that in the frozen one. Fish fry and fish curry will be on the lunch menu at least twice a week. This fish fry tastes awesome with Pineapple rasam and rice.
I already tried a fish fry with Tilapia fillets. I wanted to try a different fish fry, so just added fennel seeds to the usual fish fry ingredients. The taste didn’t disappoint me. It was good that everyone liked it. Hope you will try this to make your weekend lunch more interesting.
How to make
We are going to grind the masala or spice mix with ginger garlic paste. Cut the salmon to small fillets if you like. Marinate the fish with the ground masala paste. Let it stay aside for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour. Heat a heavy-bottomed pan, so the fish doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan. Add oil. When the oil is hot, add curry leaves and place the marinated fish pieces gently.
Cook the fish pieces on medium flame and gently flip them with tongs. Once it is cooked crisp, remove the fish from the kitchen tissue to get the excess oil.

Loved this version of salmon. What I also did was make a thick masala of onions and tomatoes with ginger and garlic and curry leaves and added the fried salmons to it. It tasted really good.
