Do you love to drink Coconut water? How about eating Coconut water? This gelatin-free Coconut water Jelly is a perfect way to have your coconut water without spilling.

Coconut Water Jelly

This Coconut Water Jelly came out of my love for coconut water. You can see that love in all my these recipes, Raw Mango Ginger Cooler with Coconut Water, and Coconut Water fruits Popsicle.

Coconut water jelly laid on a baking tray.

When I was thinking about what to try with coconut water, this jelly idea came to me. I wanted it to be gelatin-free, as most of the store-bought jellies would have. The outcome was really good, and now I was thinking why I didn’t try this before. You can see my other jelly recipes Beetroot Jelly, Watermelon Jelly, and mango jelly. If you love coconut water like me, you will like this jelly too.

How to make Coconut Water Jelly

As I have already mentioned, I made two other jellies earlier, I followed the same method for this jelly too. I used Agar Agar, an important ingredient to make this gelatin-free.

I have many readers asking about Agar Agar. It is a vegetarian substitute for Gelatin. You can get this in any Asian supermarket. I added sugar to this recipe, which is totally optional. You can avoid it. Then you need just 2 ingredients to make this jelly.

Other treats for kids

These are amazing – I love coconut water, and I must admit I much prefer things set with agar agar compared to gelatine. Great recipe!

This is such a fun way to enjoy coconut water. My kids love the different shapes and it’s a wonderful way to hydrate quickly and get electrolytes from coconut water.

We are not boiling it too much to make it concentrate but just warming it up. There are no issues but if you are concerned, you can dissolve agar agar in warm water and then mix it with coconut water. Let me know if you have any questions.
