Gulab Jamun cupcakes/ muffins are an amazing way to surprise your loved ones this Valentine’s Day.

Soft melt-in-mouth gulab jamuns stuffed in crumbly cupcakes are true bliss to treat your loved ones.

Gulab Jamun Cupcakes/Muffins

This Valentine’s Day I decided to make these Gulab Jamun Cupcakes/ Muffins as my husband and kids love Gulab Jamun the most. If you ask me why I chose to make it into muffins because I want to surprise them. Yeah, the actual main ingredient is hidden in this muffin.

I have been looking for Gulab Jamun stuffed cupcakes. Most of them stuffed the Jamun in normal vanilla cupcakes. But I want the Jamun flavor to be incorporated in the muffin. So I made my own recipe. These cupcakes don’t need any frosting as it is great as such. But you can if you want.

How to make Gulab Jamun Cupcakes/ Muffins

As I said above, I want to make cupcakes with real Gulab Jamun flavor. So I incorporated the Jamun syrup in the batter. You can either reduce sugar or add syrup too. I ground the sugar with cardamom to give the exact flavor and didn’t add any butter but still, the cupcakes are moist and delicious.

I stuffed homemade Gulab Jamun in it for a surprise element. It’s like eating Gulab Jamun in cupcake form. You can also use a store-bought one. This recipe is a great way to use leftover Jamun syrup.
