Onion Raita is an easy accompaniment you can have with Pulao or Biryani. Let’s see how to make it.

Onion Raita
This is such a simple raita to have along with some yummy biryani. Raw onions are good for digestion. This is no cook accompaniment and you can make it in no time. Make sure the yogurt you use is not sour and it should be thick and creamy. This yogurt-based raita cools down the heat of the main dish. There are lots of different types of raita you can try.
How to make Onion Raita
Chop the onions finely or slice as per your preference. Mix the salt and cumin powder with the thick yogurt and add the chopped onions. Serve the raita with Fried chicken biryani, Mushroom Biryani, Instant pot Vegetable Biryani, Instant pot Mint Rice, Instant pot Vegetable Pulao.
| You can also add the tempering to the raita for a nutty taste. Heat oil, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Once the mustard seeds splutter, pour them on the raita. |
