Tandoori Cauliflower Bites/ Cauliflower Tikka

Cauliflower is a great alternate for meat and you can make numerous lip-smacking dishes using it. There are already a few in this space and here I give you one more easy appetizer or snack. Normally to make tikka, we use besan/ chickpea flour, rice flour, red chili powder, garam masala, yogurt, ginger garlic paste.

In this recipe, I used Kevin’s Natural Foods Tikka Masala sauce to marinate the cauliflower florets. The sauce made the whole process easy. The sauce as such is paleo, keto, and gluten-free. You can add any veggies or meat as per your preference.

Ingredients used

Ingredients used to make Tandoori Cauliflower Bites.

Method

As I said, in this recipe I used Kevin’s natural foods Tikka masala sauce made the whole process easier. Just marinate the cauliflower florets with the sauce. I added ½ tsp of salt for my taste. You can check and add salt as per your preference. Marinate the mixture for at least 1 hour or you can refrigerate it overnight.

Baking method

Preheat the oven to 400 Deg F. Spread the marinated cauliflower florets on the baking tray. Apply Ghee or oil over the cauliflower. This is optional but I highly recommend it. Bake it in a preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Then Broil in high for 2 to 3 minutes to get the charred top on the Tandoori cauliflower bites. Serve with your favorite dip or Tamarind chutney.
