Rice Krispies Chivda /Mixture is an Indian savory snack. It’s so quick and needs less than 10 minutes from the start to your plate.
Rice Krispies Chivda
I made this Rice Krispies chivda for Diwali this year. Along with this, I made Gulab Jamun and Medu Vada also for Diwali. When I was looking to make some savory snacks, I stumbled upon this site. They have many drooling recipes in their space. This particular recipe is the result of the inspiration from there.
I had a lot of rice krispies untouched for days. I wanted to use it wisely. So thought of making it a savory snack that can be enjoyed with your hot cup of tea. Beware, it is totally addictive.
How to make Rice Krispies Chivda
As I already said, this is so easy and all you need is just 10 minutes to make this addictive snack. All ingredients in this recipe can be adjusted to your choice. I used nuts, peanuts, raisins, and roasted gram dal. You can add cashews, almonds, or any nuts of your choice. Instead of rice krispies, you can choose any cereal or all cereal you like.
I used coconut oil for roasting which gives a unique flavor. But you can use any oil of your choice. This will stay good for 2 weeks if stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
